Based on a sparring session Mike Perry and Jake Paul had a few years ago, Paul’s trainer, BJ Flores, recently predicted ‘Platinum’ would get himself knocked out if he was aggressive from the very beginning. Additionally, Flores also mentioned that ‘The Problem Child’ had the better of Perry in every round they sparred.

On the other hand, predicting an easy win at the sold-out Amalie Arena, Jake Paul declared he would expose Mike Perry’s weaknesses to the world. Although he acknowledged ‘Platinum’ had fought “some legends,” Jake Paul remained convinced that his boxing was head and shoulder above Perry’s. So of course, there is a lot on the line for Perry as well. Can the “BKFC King of Violence” title-holder triumph over Paul?

When Jake Paul promised victory over Mike Perry, the BKFC fighter called Paul’s speech “cap.” But now, after he was stopped by Jake Paul, Perry changed his tune. On being asked if Paul surprised ‘Platinum’ with his performance, Perry answered, “He hit me with a right hook to the body in the beginning, cracked my rib like [in the] first 10 seconds.” Although Perry tried to avenge the right hook to the body, Paul never exposed himself to Mike.

“I just was never able to even see it. I think he was just too fast. He kept his feet moving,” said a disappointed Mike Perry. “His right hook hit me easier than I expected. It just kept coming.
