We checked Ticketmaster’s “Verified Resale” listings for the 49ers home opener, the Thursday nighter against the NY Giants on Sept. 21. The cheapest seats we could find the week of the game were going for $87 a pop in the nosebleeds, and once you tack on service and processing fees, which add about $76 at checkout, the cost of four tickets jumps up to $424. Want tickets at the 50-yard line and closer to the field? Those were going for about $1,500 to $2,500 apiece.

Stadium beers are expensive no matter where you watch football, but beer at 49ers games is even pricier, according to a 2022 analysis from sports betting platform Bookies.com. Two 16-ounce beers register at $23, higher than the $19.11 NFL stadium average. (If it makes you feel any better, LA Chargers fans are paying $27.50 for the same drinks).

Four hot dogs will cost you $22 at Levi’s Stadium, which is actually a little cheaper than the national average of $22.80, according to Bookies.com. And four sodas will run you about $19, which is also a little less than the NFL average. In total, the analysis estimated that 49ers games were the most expensive in the league to attend.

A trip to the 49ers team shop at Levi’s Stadium is a must for many fans, but people often leave empty-handed after seeing the prices. For our exercise, let’s say you’re dying to get a new white Brock Purdy jersey and your boo wants that scarlet Fred Warner alternate to make your day at the game even better. Those official Nike jerseys range between $130 to $175 each.

If you don’t want to spend quite that much, 49ers hats and beanies sell in the $20 to $40 range, with options like a corduroy snapback on the higher end of that.

Public transportation tends to be the easiest way to get to and from Levi’s Stadium, although it’s a haul from San Francisco. Parking prices at Levi’s Stadium can vary widely depending on the lot and the event. To give you an idea on 49ers parking prices, game day pricing last season ranged from $40 to $160 and Bookies.com places the average fee for lot parking at Levi’s Stadium at $85. Popular tailgating lots, like the RV blue lot and those closest to the stadium, command the highest prices. You can reserve spots on Ticketmaster in advance, which is often a good idea if you’re dead set on parking at the yard.

Another option for those driving to 49ers games is to book a space in a private lot in advance using ParkWhiz or SpotHero. But, be prepared to walk a mile or so to the stadium once you reach Santa Clara if you go this route.

It’ll set you back almost $900 to hit a 49ers game at Levi’s Stadium with a group of four, and that’s going with the cheapest prices in all the ranges we provided. If you nix the team shop, you can get the group in and out for about $600. But doing a 49ers game for less than $500 with a group of four is just about a pipe dream.
