What Was Your Weight Loss Diet And Routine?
During my weight loss journey, I followed a simple and healthy diet routine. I opted for very light food at ten in the night. I made a practise where I did not take milk, no added sugar and no outside food or junk food.
Did You Completely Cut Down on Sugar?
I cut out added sugar in my meals. However, I preferred it only in form of natural sugar from fruits, potato and rice.
Did You Have Cheat Meals?
Yes! A day in a week was dedicated for a veg sandwich and cold coffee with light sugar.
What is One Rule That You Abide by For Losing Weight?
Diet control and regular exercise. These two are two major things that worked best for me.
What Was One Thing That Worked Best For You?
Apart from my consistency in regular exercise and diet control, what worked most effectively for me is cycling. It really helped me to enhance the metabolism and burn calories. Pulak tells us that he still engages in this exercise in a bid to maintain his healthy lifestyle and enjoys its too.
One Challenge That You Faced And How Did You Overcome it?
During my initial days I was unable to do exercise in a proper way. But after 15 days I managed to do so pretty efficiently. Having that dedication and consistency is the key. Apart from exercising, I used to crave for street food, savoury and spicy food, and diet control was one of the main pillars for my weight loss journey. Here, cycling and exercise pushed me to control the diet and be more mindful towards eating.
Is There a Weight Loss Myth That You Got to Know About During Your Journey?
It’s not a tough call. It’s easy if you are committed and always think that you are losing weight with doing right things. Controlling the mind is also not tough.
