Moreover, the company has also revealed that its SUV models like Creta, Venue, Alcazar, and Tucson, as well as the sub-compact hatchback and sedan siblings Aura and Grand i10 Nios, all recorded their highest ever sales numbers in FY 22-23. Talking about Hyundai’s performance in the market last month, it managed to sell 61,500 vehicles in the month of March 2023, out of which 50,600 units were sold in the domestic market, while the rest 10,900 were exported to other countries.

With the recent launch of the new-gen Verna, Hyundai would be looking to further improve its growth trajectory in the country. At the launch of the updated sedan next month, the company had said that it expects to sell twice the number of Vernas as compared to the last-gen model.
As an introductory offer, the Hyundai Verna is currently priced from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable mid-size sedans in India. The Verna puts up against the likes of Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, as well as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
