Vaughan took to social media platform ‘X’, formerly Twitter, to take a jibe at the South African.

After suffering a seven-wicket thrashing against India in Ahmedabad, Arthur lashed out at the BCCI for not playing the song ‘Dil Dil Pakistan‘ at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
“Look, I’d be lying if I said that It didn’t seem like an ICC event, tonight, to be brutally honest. It seemed like a bilateral series; it seemed like a BCCI event. I didn’t hear Dil Dil Pakistan coming through the microphones too often tonight,” Arthur had said.
On the match front, Afghanistan’s spirited team continued its remarkable streak of upsets, leaving Pakistan teetering on the edge of elimination with an eight-wicket victory.
Despite the challenging conditions of the Chepauk pitch, Afghanistan successfully chased a target of 283, primarily due to the opening partnership between Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who scored 65 off 53 balls, and Ibrahim Zadran, who made 87 off 113 balls, setting a solid foundation with a 130-run stand.
In a game where experience is often invaluable, Afghanistan displayed their resilience and adaptability, successfully chasing down the target in 49 overs. This victory also shed light on the shortcomings of the Pakistan bowling unit, which had an off-day and struggled to make an impact.
Although Afghanistan had previously faced seven ODI defeats against Pakistan, they managed to overcome their past shortcomings by delivering a comprehensive performance.
