The report focused on two grants that Maguire lobbied for, including a $5.5 million upgrade for the Wagga Wagga Clay Target Club and a $20.5 million plan to build a recital hall for the Riverina Conservatorium of Music. The report concluded that Berejiklian had engaged in serious corrupt conduct by breaching public trust and not disclosing her personal relationship with Maguire. However, criminal charges were not recommended. In a statement, Berejiklian expressed gratitude for the public’s support and stated that she will be examining the report with her legal team. The report also made recommendations regarding the codes of conduct for MPs and the integrity of grant schemes.
