In Miami, Victoria Beckham and Vogue100 Celebrate Fashion, Fragrance, and Design with The Webster

After a buzzy cocktail hour, attendees settled in for a multi-course meal. The menu featured LPM favorites like the avocado salad, bluefin tuna tartare, whole grilled branzino, and linguini pasta with clams, to name a few. And, don’t forget about dessert! The vanilla cheesecake with berry compote was an instant crowd-pleaser.

Following the luncheon, the group descended upon The Webster to enjoy a panel discussion between Beckham and Dubreuil, which was moderated by Vogue’s senior shopping editor, Lilah Ramzi. Set on the second floor of the boutique amongst Beckam’s pre-spring 2024 collection, guests were eager to hear from two leading tastemakers in all things fashion, beauty, and beyond.

“I really appreciate being here amongst so many wonderful brands,” Beckham smiled. “A pre-collection is just as important to me and my main collections. I’m always creating what I want, and what I believe my community desires as well. For me, it’s about silhouettes and making things very flattering. It’s not about compromising the fashion message, but focusing on having a sense of reality in the garment.”

Through describing her process for developing future Victoria Beckham Beauty products to sharing the inspiration for her latest ready-to-wear collection, Beckham gave listeners a whole new perspective on the empire she’s built. Whether she’s putting on a fashion show in Paris, meeting editors in New York, or enjoying time at home in Miami, Beckham always stays true to her authentic style, one where family stands at the forefront. With her daughter, Harper, in the crowd, it’s clear that Beckham practices what she preaches.

Focusing back on the clothes, when asked about her top pick, Dubreuil excitedly exclaimed, “My favorite piece is the gorgeous pink gown beside you and you’ll have to grab this one quickly because we’re almost sold out of the collection!” One of those few good problems to have as a retail founder.

From opening the first luxury concept store in South Beach to reconstructing the retail landscape, Dubreuil is an entrepreneur in her own right. By curating an experiential space for customers to shop the most coveted pieces from all of their favorite labels under one roof, The Webster is a unique destination for luxury fashion and beauty. “Full disclosure, I’m a Victoria Beckam eyeliner addict,” Dubreuil confessed. So, collaborating with Beckham to launch her pre-spring 2024 collection and fragrance at The Webster during the peak of Art Basel Miami was a pinnacle moment for both brands.

“I have big dreams, and I’m very ambitious about what I do,” Beckham beamed. “I hold the fragrance very close to my heart because each scent is tied to a personal, untold story.” For someone who has lived the majority of her life in the public eye, Beckham continues to prove that her creative talents span far beyond the stage, red carpet, and television sets.

As the conversation drew to a close and the crowd trickled out into the unusually brisk Miami air, the lessons of female empowerment, balance, and listening to your intuition offered us all a sense of direction during a week known for causing chaos.
