The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has reported that a 64-year-old Indian woman, Reeta Sahani, has gone missing from a cruise ship traveling back to Singapore from Penang. Her husband, Jakesh Sahani, 70, discovered her absence in the middle of the night. The ship’s crew informed him that the overboard detection systems had detected something falling into the Singapore Strait. Reeta’s current status is unknown, and her family is still awaiting CCTV footage to confirm if she jumped or is still on the ship. The MPA is coordinating the search and has asked other vessels in the area to report any sightings.
