Frisco Police have confirmed that 17-year-old missing Indian student has been found. Ishika Thakore joined that shocking trend of growing list of missing Indians in the United Stated before being found by the cops. Police said they were looking for a 17-year-old girl who left her house on Monday night and hasn’t been seen since. She reportedly left her house in the 11900 block of Brownwood Drive in Frisco around 11:30 p.m. “Ishika was last seen in Frisco, Texas, on Monday, April 8th, at 11:30 PM. She left her home on Brownwood Drive wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and red/green pajama pants. She’s about 5 feet 4 inches tall.”

They later posted on X(initially Twitter), “LOCATED – The 17-year-old who was the subject of our Critical Missing Alert from earlier today has been located. We’d like to thank everyone for the offers of assistance and words of support.”

Recent cases of missing Indian Americans in the US have raised concerns. Mohammed Abdul Arfath, a 25-year-old student, was tragically found dead in Cleveland after being reported missing. Similarly, Neel Acharya, a Purdue University student, met a similar fate after being reported missing. These incidents echo the disappearance of a 25-year-old Indian-American woman in Texas last year, whose body was discovered in Oklahoma. The series of events has prompted a closer look at the safety and security of Indian Americans residing in the US. Authorities are investigating these cases to determine the circumstances surrounding these tragic losses.
