(India’s first corona patient positive again: The corona report of India’s first patient has now come back positive.
Thiruvananthapuram, July 13: Most patients in the country are recovering from corona. However, they are not at risk of re-infection with corona. Now the first corona patient in India has contracted corona again (India’s first corona patient positive again). The first corona patient in the country was found in Kerala (Kerala medical student). The corona report of this patient has now come back positive.
A medical student from Kerala returning to India from China was the first corona patient in India. She has tested positive for corona again, health officials said. She has re-infection with Corona. Her antigen test is negative but RT-PCR test is positive. She has no symptoms of corona, said Dr. Thrissur’s DMO. K. J, Rina said while talking to PTI.

The student, who is studying medicine at Wuhan University in China, returned to India in the last week of January, 2020.

On January 30, 2020, she was diagnosed with coronavirus. She was treated at Thrissur Medical College Hospital for about three weeks, after which she was released from the corona. Corona was discharged from the hospital on February 20, 2020 after a negative report. Now, almost a year and a half later, she is infected with the coronavirus again.
