Samsung has recently unveiled its latest foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, at the Galaxy Unpacked Event in Seoul, South Korea. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a larger cover display compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
One of the notable features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is its FlexCam, which allows users to see a preview of the viewfinder when taking pictures using the outer display. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 supports opening apps on the outer display, which has been optimized to show on the 3.4-inch screen, enabling users to perform various tasks without fully opening the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is priced starting at $1,799 (approximately Rs. 1,47,600), while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 starts at $999 (approximately Rs. 82,000). These devices will be available for purchase in select countries starting from August 11.
In addition to the new foldable devices, Samsung has also launched the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series, which focuses on sleep-tracking features. The Galaxy Watch 6 offers sleep coaching, ECG, and heart rate monitoring using the BioActive sensor. It also provides irregular heart rate notifications and helps track menstrual cycles. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, featuring a rotating bezel for easy navigation, has also been reintroduced.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 starts at $299 (approximately Rs. 24,500), while the Watch 6 Classic starts at $399 (approximately Rs. 32,700). Both watches will be available for purchase in select countries starting August 11.
