US juice bar giant Jamba is heading down under, with locations set to open in Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast this month.
Formerly known as Jamba Juice, the brand says it offers “on-the-go freshly blended fruit and vegetable smoothies, made-to-order bowls, fresh-squeezed juices and shots, boosts and bites”.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to bring the people of Australia a one-of-a-kind experience with our smoothies, juices, bites, iced delights, and mouth-watering bowls,” franchisee owner Newford QSR Group managing director Danny Cheung said.

“Jamba is a brand that’s adored worldwide.”
Originating from California, the company has been operating for 30 years.
Besides the Melbourne city location, the company is also considering sites at Doncaster, Knox, Southland, High Point and Fountain Gate.
Potential sites locations in Queensland are also on the cards, including at Carindale, Mt. Gravatt, Chermside, Harbour Town and Brisbane CBD.
Unfortunately, Sydneysiders will likely have to wait until 2025 before the brand is likely to set up there.
As of March 2023, Jamba had nearly 800 locations operating in the US, as well as the Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea and Thailand.
