The Compass is available in six variants – Sport, Longitude, Longitude (O), Limited (O), Blackshark (O) and Model S (O).The base spec Sport variant gets features such as an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, semi-digital cluster, reflector LED headlamps, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, engine start-stop, steering mounted controls, electric parking brake, TPMS, dual airbags, TCS, ESC, hill start assist and more.
The top-spec variant gets features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, fully digital 10.25-inch digital driver display, ventilated front seats, an 8-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, wireless phone charger, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, 360-degree camera and more.

Talking about the powertrain, the Jeep Compass is offered only with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, multijet diesel engine which puts out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. This engine also does the job in Tata Safari, Harrier, MG Hector, MG Hector Plus and Jeep Meridian.
