The wife of late MasterChef star Jock Zonfillo has acknowledged his co-stars’ tearful tribute to him at the Logie Awards on Sunday night.
Taking to Instagram, Lauren Fried shared footage of Seven’s broadcast after MasterChef won the Most Popular Reality Program award for MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites.

Fried posted a segment showing MasterChef executive producer Marty Benson fighting back tears as he spoke, and added a giant red love heart symbol above the footage.
On Sunday night, Benson said a few words as the rest of the cast hugged, looking tearful.
“As I stand here tonight, it’s still hard to believe that my mate and our amazing judge Jock is no longer with us,” he said.
“So, big man, this is 100 per cent dedicated to you.
“Tonight we are going to celebrate Jock-style.
“Please, everybody, give it up for Jock!”
The crowd then erupted into heartfelt applause.
Melissa Leong thanked viewers for “sticking with” the show, “especially in the year that we’ve had.”
Zonfrillo was also acknowledged during the In Memoriam segment.
