Actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut recently visited a few flood-hit areas in her home state, Himachal Pradesh where rescue and relief measures were underway.
Taking it to her Instagram handle, Kangana shared a series of pictures from her visit, meeting locals, and assessing the work being done in the flood-affected areas. “Today, visiting various flood-hit areas in Himachal Pradesh,” she wrote on Instagram Stories alongside a photo showing the damage.In another picture, Kangana is seen hugging a woman, with the caption, “People have lost everything… in the vastness of that loss, I feel immense pain and grief… our hope is PM Modi…”

Just like me. I am mountains and they are me…”
Recently, the actress took to her X to address the concerns and said she was advised by local authorities to not visit the affected areas in Himachal amid the catastrophic flood.

She tweeted, “Today I submitted this very important concern in the parliament regarding Himachal Pradesh under rule 377 which is a very significant slot. I also asked for meetings with PM ji and HM ji regarding flood destructions in Mandi constituency. I want to assure Himachal people I have their back and they will get BJP’s full support.”
On the work front, Kangana will next be seen in her directorial debut, ‘Emergency’, portraying former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
