Milo Yiannopoulos, the former chief of staff for Kanye West, is alleging celebrity dentist Thomas Connelly provided the rapper with nitrous oxide for recreational use, which led to addiction.
Yiannopoulos, who worked with West from 2022 until early 2024, claims in a sworn affidavit submitted to the California Dental Board that Connelly supplied the laughing gas in exchange for cash, making as much as $50,000 monthly, reported TMZ.
The former Yeezy employee, who first rose to prominence as a far-right political commentator and outspoken gay conversion therapy advocate, also says he witnessed Ye self-administering the gas and exhibiting erratic behavior.
He filed his affidavit with the Dental Board of California, attempting to get Connelly’s license suspended and calling him a “dangerous predator.”
Yiannopoulos further alleged that Connelly targeted African-American celebrities, mentioning suspicions about fake diamonds being implanted in the mouth of rapper Lil Yachty. He detailed the allegations Wednesday in a thread posted to X.
When the former Breitbart News editor confronted West about the situation, he claims it led to the end of their business partnership.
Connelly has since responded to the allegations in the affidavit, calling the claims “factually incorrect and intentionally misleading.”
In a statement to TMZ, his representative asserted the dentist adheres to all ethical and legal standards and will continue providing care despite what they called unfounded attacks on his character.
