Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been the talk of the town for many days now. Karan Johar got shocking reactions for it as he didn’t expect Anurag Kashyap to Rakesh Roshan liking the film. Most critics have also given the movie a thumbs up, much to KJo’s shock. While Karan’s treatment to the film along with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s performance, was being spoken of, another aspect which grabbed eye balls was Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra’s love story.
The veteran actors also shared a kiss in the film, much to the surprise of the viewers. Karan recently spoke about the film in a chat with Indian Express Adda and he also had a rapid fire session. The filmmaker was asked who he would cast in the roles of Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi, if he made RARKPK 35 years later. He instantly said, “Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.”
KJo has directed Kajol and SRK in his first movie, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, followed by Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan. During this rapid fire session, Ananya Panday who is promoting her movie, ‘Dream Girl 2’, also joined Karan on stage. She also played a rapid fire session with him.
Ananya asked Karan who he would cast for ‘K3G’ if it was made today. Ananya slyly told him, that she knows all of Pooh’s lines and Karan laughed. He then responded and said, “okay, with Kareena’s permission, I’ll cast you as Poo.” He further added that he would cast Ranveer and Alia and SRK and Kajol’s characters from the movie.
During this conversation, Karan was asked about the most under-rated actor and actress. Karan said, Tanuja is an under-rated actress and is his all-time favourite.
