Karan Johar says he will ‘Disinherit’ son Yash and give ‘Everything’ to his daughter Roohi, here’s why

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is often seen shutting up the trolls, was left speechless while having a conversation with his children Yash and Roohi. Yes, you are reading right. On Wednesday, the accomplished filmmaker, whose birthday is May 25, shared a video with his kids. What would they offer him for his birthday, Karan asked them. He was impressed by Roohi‘s response, but shocked by his son Yash’s.
Karan posted a video of the three of them lounging on a couch on his Instagram account. While recording the video, Karan asks, “Hey it’s my birthday month. What am I getting this month?” While Roohi answers, “For me, you are gonna get love.” Karan replied, “Aww thank you Roohi, I love that.” Yash replied, “You are gonna get nothing from me. And you don’t deserve it.” After hearing his answer, Karan was left shocked and said, “What! How dare you said this to me.” His caption read, “Ok! I am disinheriting him! She’s getting everything #roohiandyash.”

While Farah Khan commented, “A boy after my own heart,” Vishal Dadlani wrote, “Hahahahahahahahahahaha, Yash for the win! Although I think Roohi copped out too, but hers was smarter/more gentle! Not to mention, @karanjohar we all saw your overflowing closets courtesy @farahkhankunder. No space in there for gifts!” Manish Malhotra shared heart emojis.
He also posted a cute video of his kids trying out beatboxing last month. The filmmaker praised his kids’ effort in the caption and expressed his amazement at it. Yash and Roohi attempt beatboxing in the opening scene of the video. Karan Johar’s voice was audible in the background. “Not sure this is beat boxing! But marks for effort always! They are born to a dada who has zilch musical talent and can’t sing or play an instrument! So am hoping beyond hope I haven’t transferred my musical genes!!!!!” read the caption.
This month, Karan made fun of people who use fillers. According to him, fillers might alter a person’s outward look but not their character or personality. Karan took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, “Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti… Make up laga lo umar hai ghat thi. Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Naak badalne se gandh itar nahi banti. Going under the knife se exterior badal bhi jaaye… Lekin meri jaan… Fitrat nahi badalti.”
On the work front, Karan Johar last directed the rom-com film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, which starred Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The film became a huge hit at the box office.
