Compared to the ZX-4R, the 4RR gets additional features and a new colour scheme. In terms of design, the bike looks the same as the ZX-4R but this gets a KRT edition paint scheme over the ZX4R’s metallic black colour scheme. The mainframe of the bike too is the same but the suspension setup is different. It gets preload-adjustable front forks, along with a fully adjustable rear mono-shock setup.

In comparison, the ZX-4R gets non-adjustable front forks and a rear mono-shock that is only preload adjustable. However, the braking system is the same which consists of 290 mm semi-floating front discs and a 220 mm rear disc. The bike also gets bidirectional quickshifter as standard, which is an optional extra on the ZX-4R.
In terms of features, the 4RR features a 4.3-inch TFT display with display models such as – Normal and Circuit Bluetooth connectivity, Rideology app, all LED lighting, four riding modes – Sport, Road, Rain and Ride, traction control, ABS and more.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 399cc, inline-four engine which produces 77hp of power at 14,500rpm and 39Nm of torque at 13,000rpm. With RAM air, the peak power output rises to 79hp. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick shifter.
