Kawasaki today launched its W175 Street retro-style motorcycle at a starting price of Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory) at India Bike Week 2023 in Vagator, Goa. The new Kawasaki W175 Streetgets some visual changes, including new colour options. At the event, Kawasaki confirmed that deliveries of this Made-in-India motorcycle will commence from December 2023.
Kawasaki W175 Street: Engine specs
At its heart, the new Kawasaki W175 Street uses a 177 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, churning out a peak power of 12.7 hp at 7,000 rpm and a max torque of 13.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The new Kawasaki W175 Street gets two new colour schemes, such as Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Grey. Featuring a circular multi-reflector headlamp with chrome bezel, the Kawasaki W175 Street is based on a semi-double cradle frame.
Kawasaki W175 Street comes equipped with a retro-themed semi-digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the motorcycle also receives attractive graphics on its fuel tank and is now equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. The seat height of Kawasaki W175 Street is 786.5 mm and ground clearance is 152 mm. Furthermore, the bike gets a 245 mm disc brake at the front and dual-channel ABS. Suspension duties are handled by front telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers.
