Where are all the stars this week? A few are in New York for the shows, but several constellations (Hailey and Justin Bieber; Kim Kardashian and Lala Anthony) turned up in Las Vegas for Michael Rubin’s (founder of sports-merch mecca Fanatics) annual Super Bowl party. This year the event took place at the Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, where the San Francisco 49ers will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Among those who came out for the event were Ciara (who wore a tee splashed with Dennis Rodman’s face), Khloé Kardashian (in distressed white leather pants), Remy Ma, Winnie Harlow, Tiffany Haddish, Gayle King, Savannah James, Travis Scott, and The Chainsmokers. Whatever its well-assembled guest list may suggest, however, this is one party that you can’t buy yourself into. As Rubin himself told The New York Times, “If someone called and said, ‘Hey, I’ll pay you $1 million for a six-person table,’ we would never do it.”
The other big draw was the entertainment. The splashy event included no fewer than 18 performances, with sets from Scott, Ice Spice, The Chainsmokers, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, The Kid LAROI, Chase B, DJ RayG, Ciara, T-Pain, Quavo, Remy Ma, E-40, Fat Joe, Sheck Wes, JID, and Zack Bia. At one point, Justin Bieber was even inspired to hop on stage, dancing along to his own music with Scott and Bia.
While much ink has been spilled over whether Taylor Swift will be in the audience or not at tonight’s big game, Rubin and Fanatics made sure there was more than enough star power in Vegas.
