KitchenAid teased fans last week suggesting it was going to unleash a “world-first” collaboration with a major Australian brand.
And at 9am on Friday the secret was out: The fashion house Alemais helped design a pastel-coloured stand mixer and bowl for the company, which is now retailing for $1,199.
“In a captivating world-first design collaboration, KitchenAid has teamed up with the illustrious Australian fashion designer Lesleigh Jermanus and her beloved brand Alemais, to unveil a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer and bowl that transcends mere kitchenware – it’s a work of art that finds its place at the heart of your home,” the brand said.

The bespoke and limited edition ceramic bowl is perfectly paired with the 4.8L KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer KSM182 in Mineral Water Blue.
Inspired by the deep “wellsprings of nature”, the Alemais design team infused elements of land, sea, and sun into the design, paying homage to Australia’s rich natural landscape.
Lesleigh Jermanus, the co-founder and creative director behind Alemais, has drawn upon two decades of fashion experience to breathe life into this culinary masterpiece.
“We believe the kitchen is the heartbeat of the home, where we come together, where life unfolds,” she said.
“Crafting this piece for your kitchen, we sought to capture the very essence of what we hold dear in life – boundless joy, mouthwatering cuisine, and the vibrant tapestry of nature.”
Customers who purchase the Alemais collaboration stand mixer will get a wire whisk, flat beater, dough hook – as standard – as well as the 4.8 litre Alemais ceramic bowl and an Alemais designed tablecloth (valued at $220).
The news spread quickly on Instagram when the brand announced its hotly anticipated Alemais connection.
Many fans say it is a “need in their life, not a want”.
“Oh my goodness, the most beautiful thing I’ve never seen,” one woman wrote.
“Gorgeous! Wow, I love both brands so much,” said another.
A third added: “Stunning”.
Kitchenaid is hosting a special masterclass for consumers to celebrate the new collaboration with The Dinner Party hosted in Bondi on November 24.
