Delhi: Team India arrived in Delhi after being stranded in Barbados for five days. The fans were there outside the Indira Gandhi International airport on a rainy Thursday morning. The world champions got a rousing reception on arriving in the country and in some time they were at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence for a private felicitation in which only VVIPs were allowed.
During that event at the PM’s residence, Modi was gifted a special Team India jersey by BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah. The number of the jersey was one, a number which is used by KL Rahul and that has forced the fans to speculate if the LSG captain has thrown in the towel.
