Kmart shoppers go wild over $6 camping hack: ‘OMG, get out’

Kmart fans are in a spin over a new camping hack that will see you whipping up smoothies with a very unlikely $6 buy.

Sharing on social media, one Kmart shopper — who uses the handle @harriethunnisett — has revealed how she and her partner use the store’s Pull Chopper to whip up chilled drinks in no time at all.

The $6 kitchen item has been a cult buy for years, with thousands swearing by the gadget to cut vegetables quickly and easily.

But now the savvy couple have worked out that it’s also a great tool for making smoothies.

“Best $6 we’ve ever spent!” the Kmart fan said. “We only eat gourmet while camping.”

The footage shows the shopper’s partner vigorously pulling on the Pull Chopper’s cord for a few seconds to mash up the ingredients – berries, banana, yoghurt, granola, peanut butter and a little water.

He then went on to rate the smoothie a nine and a half out of 10.

“Nine point five, because I always feel there’s room for improvement. But it’s pretty good,” he said.

The video has since had more than 120,000 views and thousands more reactions.

“Omg get OUT, how cool!” said one.

Another said: “This is the best cheap device ever! I have one on my caravan! Love it.”

A third wrote: “Wait what, this is amazing!”

One more added: “That’s actually so smart. I’m gonna try it.”
