Kourtney Kardashian Barker decided not to leave her house for 40 days after giving birth to baby Rocky Thirteen.
On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme co-founder, 45, revealed she was not planning on leaving her house for an extended period of time after welcoming her newborn son. Speaking with sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney opened up about her choice.
“Can you believe you are a mom of four?” Kim asks Kourtney, who replies, “Yeah, mom of four.”
“Sometimes, I’m like damn, I wish I could do it all over. The one thing I would do is be so strict from the start,” Kim says, referring to her parenting her own kids.

“I’m doing, like, where you stay home for 40 days,” Kourtney says. “You’re staying home for 40 days and 40 nights?” Khloé asks Kourtney, surprised.
In a confessional, Kourtney explains that she’s staying home for a while so she can let her body heal.
“In many different cultures, women don’t leave the house after having a baby for 40 days, to let your body have that time to heal and beyond that,” Kourtney says. “I’m really into attachment parenting. I really don’t separate from him. I love being at home right now, like my time is dedicated to taking care of my baby and bonding with him.”
The episode switches back to the first scene, where Khloé jokes with Kourtney, “Then you’re gonna go to a rave.”
“No, I just feel like I don’t wanna even go anywhere still,” Kourtney says.
“Welcome to my daily life. I haven’t had a baby and I’m still doing the 40 days,” Khloé jokes.
In June, Kourtney and husband Travis Barker reposted a snap of themselves sitting with their 8-month-old son Rocky that was taken by Travis’ daughter Alabama Luella on their Instagram Stories.
“My favorite people 🫶,” Alabama, 18, wrote across the photo.
In the picture, Kourtney pouted her lips as she cuddled her son in a black sweater, while Travis, 48, sat beside them with his hood up.
The couple appeared to be traveling in a vehicle in the shot, while Alabama shared a photo from a private jet in an earlier post on her Instagram Stories, along with a location stamp in Houston, Texas.
