RIYADH: Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, adviser at the Royal Court and supervisor general of the Saudi aid agency KSrelief, said on Thursday that the agency receives “full support” from the Saudi leadership.

Speaking at KSrelief’s open day on Thursday, Al-Rabeeah said the aid agency “serves as a beacon of civilization for the Kingdom in the field of international humanitarian work, drawing global attention with its relief projects,” which have benefited 95 countries via 2,670 projects covering “all fields of humanitarian work,” in cooperation with 175 partners and amounting to a total value of more than $6.5 billion.

“This open day comes in the framework of programs organized by the center away from the official work environment,” Al-Rabeah said, adding that such occasions promote bonding among staff, and help create “an ideal work environment that contributes to raising levels of performance and productivity among employees.”

He continued: “Such days are appreciated by everyone and viewed as a factor in renewing individual energy and work efficiency.”
