Lectrix EV today launched the LXS Moonshine limited edition e-scooter at Rs 97,999 (ex-showroom) to commemorate the success of India’s historic moon landing. The company states that it will produce only 384 units of Lectrix LXS Moonshine limited edition electric scooter.
Based on the standard Lectrix 3.0, the LXS Moonshine e-scooter sports a golden emblem with two arrows facing the sky, which the manufacturer says represents India’s emerging space age. This ‘space age’ symbol is in fact a modification of Lectrix’s brand logo, added Lectrix EV.
Powering the Lectrix LXS Moonshine Limited Edition is the same 48V li-ion battery and 1200W electric motor, as the standard Lectrix LXS 3.0 e-scooter. With a top speed of 50 kmph, the LXS Moonshine is capable of doing 0-25 kmph in 5 seconds. The battery offers a claimed range of 89 km on a single charge and it can be charged fully in 3 to 4 hours.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and coil springs at the rear. The Lectrix LXS Moonshine limited edition electric scooter gets drum brakes at the front and rear, paired with Combi-Braking System (CBS).
