They’ve come a long way from playing “Carousel” in a San Diego garage.
Legendary pop punk band Blink-182 just announced a 30-city North American tour in support of its latest record, “One More Time…,” with a stop at Chase Center in San Francisco scheduled for July 9, 2024.
The album marks the first time that bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Travis Barker have been in the studio together in a decade after producing some of the best-known dudes rock records of the 1990s and early aughts: 1999’s “Enema of the State,” which heavily influenced the genre with tracks like “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things,” as well as 2001’s “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket,” which birthed fast-paced, pick-it-up singles including “First Date” and “The Rock Show.”
The band became staples of Warped Tour and MTV alike, and two of its albums reached multiplatinum status before it slowed down and went on an indefinite hiatus in 2005, not reuniting until 2009. DeLonge left the band for a second time in 2015 and was briefly replaced by Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba. Meanwhile, in recent years, the bandmates have found themselves on wildly different paths, as DeLonge found a new life pursuing UFO research, Hoppus beat an aggressive form of lymphoma, and Barker launched his own cannabis brand and married Kourtney Kardashian.

“With Delonge back after nearly a decade fans can expect that electric on stage magic that the trio has delivered over the years,” a statement from Live Nation read. “With their new album due in 2023, ‘blink-182’ is stoked to be facing their future together.”
“One More Time…” was released Oct. 20 after the band teased a single of the same name and “Edging.”
Tickets for all shows are slated to be available for purchase on Ticketmaster starting Friday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. Post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil is scheduled to serve as the supporting act.
