Lisa Curry’s son Jett Kenny required medical attention for a brutal injury he sustained while appearing on a TV show.

The series, which pits self-proclaimed “gladiators” against one another, led to Kenny — competing under the name “Viking” — being tackled to the floor.

The fall led to a shoulder injury, for which he was given painkillers via the popularly known “green whistle”.

It was revealed in the show that Kenny, who was attended to by paramedics, was out of the competition for the night.

Ahead of the episode airing, Kenny shared a photo to Instagram, with his Olympian mum commenting, “My Viking”.

Commenters later took to the post to send well wishes.

“That dislocated shoulder though 😬😬😬,” a second said.

“Oh no you’re out 😔 what happened?” added another.

It comes after Curry paid tribute to her son on his 29th birthday in November 2023.

The former Olympic swimmer shared a series of pictures with her son, past and present.

“The love a mother has for her only son is something that you feel in your heart every waking moment.

“I love you, love mum.”

Curry added a picture of herself with Jett as a young boy, and again with him as an adult.
