Foton Tornadoes’ Mary Rhose Dapol led her team to a come-from-behind victory against Farm Fresh in the Premier Volleyball League. Despite being at the bottom of the standings, both teams fought fiercely to stay in contention. The tournament format only allowed two squads from each group to advance to the semifinals, leaving the lower-ranked teams with little chance of moving forward. However, Dapol emphasized the importance of staying focused and giving their all in every game, regardless of the outcome. Foton coach Brian Esquibel also stressed the need to concentrate on their next game rather than thinking about the classification match. Although already out of contention, Akari displayed determination and fought hard against Creamline. While they may not have a chance at the semifinals, the Akari team remains committed to improving and studying their opponents. Both Gerflor and Akari, knocked out of the race for the semifinals, are now preparing for a classification duel.
