In that case, you’re aware of the chokehold vintage MAC lipstick shades have on the virtual cosmetics community—just try to watch Erin Parsons swatch an old tube of Fleshpot without pining to grab the light nude through the screen and wear it yourself. Well, MAC has heard our calls for action; the beloved beauty brand just released a slew of previously discontinued shades under the Lipstick Bringbacks collection.
As a celebratory treat for MAC’s 40th anniversary and a teaser before the brand’s ever-popular National Lipstick Day festivities, it has decided to unlock its vault and re-release eight shades that its shoppers have been begging for (we love a comeback kid) in one limited-edition collection. Good news: the Lipstick Bringbacks collection includes the aforementioned Fleshpot! Bad news: The shade, along with the shimmery pink-white Bubbles, instantly sold out upon release. However, you can still shop the rest of the lineup, which includes two shimmery Frost shades (silver Haku and bronze Chintz), two satin-textured Creamsheen colors (mauve Hot Gossip and tangerine Shanghai Spice), and two demi-matte Amplified Cream bullets (fuschia-purple Up the Amp and teddy brown Double Shot).
Take note that this is a limited batch, so once they’re sold out, who knows when these legendary shades will make their return. You may have missed your moment to buy Fleshpot, but the rest of the line is still shoppable below.
