In the domestic market, Mahindra’s sales in the passenger vehicle segment stood at 39,981, an uptick of 32 percent as compared to the 30,392 units sold in November 2022.On the other hand, the commercial vehicle segment clocked 22,211 units in the same period.
Talking about the exports, the OEM witnessed a substantial 42 percent decline as it clocked just 1,816 units in November as against the 3,122 units it shipped in the similar period last year.

On the farm equipment front, M&M sold 31,069 units, up by 6 percent, as compared to 29,180 units in November 2022. These numbers are for the domestic market alone. Exports on the other hand, fell by 25 percent, recording 1,005 units against 1,348 in November 2022.
The company said that it had witnessed a strong festive season demand for its SUV portfolio which includes popular models such as the Thar, Scorpio series, XUV300, and the XUV700. However, the OEM blamed supply chain issues during specific parts of the month which has hindered the sales from true potential. In the farm equipment segment, the Kharif crop harvesting season pushed the demand as maximum retails were made during the Diwali and Dhanteras period.
