As seen in the video, the compact SUV will now get a completely revamped front fascia, featuring a new grille, new inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, redesigned headlamp units placed above the fog lights. Towards the rear, the model will feature an angular tailgate, connected LED tail lamps, aligning with a growing trend among OEMs for new product launches. Furthermore, Mahindra has hinted that the XUV 3XO will get a larger infotainment system, an upgraded sound system, premium upholstery, and a set of new, aerodynamically-efficient, layered-spoke alloy wheels among other changes. Another major highlight will be the inclusion of a sunroof, which is yet another popular feature for the Indian PV market.

Under the hood, the XUV 3XO will likely continue with the engine options that are offered with the outgoing XUV300, namely the 1.5-litre diesel, 1.2-litre turbo petrol, and 1.2-litre direct injection turbo petrol (TGDI). However, it is possible that the lineup will get a new addition in the form of a 1.2-litre TGDI petrol variant, which will come mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Upon launch, the XUV 3XO will lock horns against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, among other models.
