The XUV 3XO is offered in nine variants – MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7 and AX7 L with prices ranging from Rs 7.49 lakh to 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).Variant wise pricing is listed below.
In terms of design, the 3XO features refreshed styling elements. It gets a completely re-designed front fascia with all LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, a redesigned headlamp housing and a new grille design. On the sides, there are very few little changes and it also gets newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels. Moving rear, the SUV gets a re-designed tailgate with connected tail lights, bold XUV 3XO lettering, an integrated spoiler, high high-mounted stop lamp, a scuff plate and more.
The XUV 3XO will be available in seven colour options – Citrine Yellow, Dune Dust, Nebula Blue, Deep Forest, Stealth Black and Everest White. Higher-spec PRO variants also get dual-tone colour options. Mahindra claims that the XUV 3XO has approach, and departure angles of 23.6 degrees and 39.6 degrees, respectively, and a water wading depth of 350mm. The boot space has also increased compared to the previous model, it’s up from 257 litres to 295 litres and it also gets 60:40 split-folding seats as standard.
Talking about the features, the new XUV 3XO gets a re-designed dashboard layout with a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, AdrenoX connected car tech, Harman/Kardon 7 speaker audio system, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 65W Type C charging port, ambient lighting, 360-degree surround camera, leatherette seats, revised centre console, and rear AC vents, rear type-C charging port and more.

In terms of safety, all variants get 6 airbags, rear disc brakes, ESP, and ISOFIX anchors as standard across all variants Higher-spec versions get an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, hill-start and hill descent assist, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor and Level 2 ADAS which is a segment-first. The Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue get Level 1 ADAS tech. Mahindra says that the front visibility of the XUV 3XO is the same as the XUV 700. Also, the level 2 ADAS system, ESP technology, cameras, and connectivity are the same as the 700.
Talking about the powertrain, the entry-level MX1, MX2 PRO, MX3 and AX5 variants are offered with a 111hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Another engine is the 117hp, 1.5-litre turbo diesel paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The AX5L and higher variants are powered by the 130hp, 1.2-litre turbo direct injection petrol unit, which comes paired with an Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic and 6-speed manual gearbox.
