Known for extravagant displays ranging from a treadmill catwalk to a carousel-turned fashion show, Gucci mastered the art of throwing a summer festival with elegant ease this past Saturday night. In honor of the brand’s new bi-level boutique in East Hampton, the Saltzman family welcomed friends and fashion folk like Derek Blasberg, Drew Barrymore, Lindsey Vonn, Jeremy O. Harris, Athena Calderone, Bethann Hardison, Rachel Zoe, Selby Drummond, Hilary Taymour, Molly Sims, Grace Gummer, and Tyler Mitchell to their three-acre summer residence.

A lush arched entryway guided guests to the sprawling, Modernist estate, which was outfitted with the Hamptons’ best hits. Bostwick’s Chowder House lobster rolls, zesty beet hummus, and a sampling of tacos were all passed around while Amagansett’s famous farm stand, Amber Waves, served up wood-fired pizzettes on porcelain Gucci plates. Of course, oysters were of plenty (shucked fresh with all the fixings) while mint juleps and Wölffer wine flowed from the poolside bars all night long.

As per festival fashion, the dance floor was dressed with a futuristic light show and the très chic tented lounge areas were outfitted with colorful Gucci garb. The massive mirrored sculptures were perfect for snapping a selfie, but the backlight pool filled with Gerbera daisies was a truly magical moment.

Decked in head-to-toe Gucci, Tygapaw warmed up the buzzy crowd mixing groovy vinyl records while the sun slowly set. When the clock struck 9 p.m., guests raced to the main stage to secure a spot for the night’s highly anticipated headliner. Only Gucci could persuade legendary music producer and deejay Mark Ronson to play his first show in over two years, which he closed with a throwback “Toxic” tribute to fellow artist Britney Spears.

Before bidding the night adieu, guests lined up for a summery treat, an ice-cream swirl with sprinkles from Carvel. Spotted with one, Kerby Jean-Raymond managed to make it all the way out East following his postponed couture show, which took place upstate earlier that day. From the delicious roundup of local fares to the iconic musical lineup, Gucci’s return to the Hamptons was one not to miss.
