Megan Thee Stallion rang in 2024 looking like a glass of champagne, turning the traditional New Year’s Eve toast into some seriously shimmery and sparkly beauty inspiration.
The musician, who performed onstage in Times Square shortly after midnight, initially wore a face full of amethyst purple tones, but later changed things up with shimmery champagne hues to celebrate the dawn of a new year with her friends. She shared a series of up-close detail photos of the look so we can examine every angle and replicate it ourselves, even though January 1 has come and gone. But this isn’t the kind of makeup you wear for one night only; this is so gorgeous and versatile, it works just as well on a weekend date night as it does on NYE.
Megan’s go-to makeup artist Lauren Elise Child used all Revlon products for her champagne look, including the Revlon x Megan Thee Stallion Big Bad Palette. (Megan is an ambassador for the brand.) On her lids, she chose a combo of rose pink and icy shimmer, with the darker shade blended outwards all the way to the tail end of Megan’s brows and the lighter tone concentrated near her inner lids. Under her brows, she brushed on a glamorous light gold tone to highlight, then applied ColorStay Multiplayer Liquid-Glide Eye Pencil in Black to her lashlines. Dramatic long lashes and Super Lustrous The Lip Gloss in Super Natural, a shimmery rose, finished off Megan’s glass of bubbly-inspired beauty.
