Mercedes today announced it will launch the second-gen GLA and AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift in the Indian market on January 31, 2024. The brand has shared this information about the facelift models, slated to launch in Delhi. Here is what to expect from the manufacturer’s upcoming models.
Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift
Talking about the exterior, the Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift will get all LED lighting and wheel arches matching the car’s exterior.Inside, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA is expected to come equipped with an updated MBUX infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and interior ambient lighting.
At its heart, the Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift is likely to be available in two engine options – a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with 163 hp and a 2.0-litre diesel engine with 190 hp. The GLA facelift is expected to be priced around Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift
The front of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe facelift will be similar to its SUV sibling, the GLE. The 2024 GLE 53 Coupe will be available in AMG form in the Indian market, similar to its pre-facelift model.

Mechanically, the luxury coupe is likely to come equipped with a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, generating a peak power of 457 hp. The engine is expected to be powered by a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic AWD system. In terms of pricing, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift is likely to be priced at approximately Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom, pan-India).
