The blockbuster show has just transferred from Broadway to London’s Prince Edward Theatre, complete with sensational leading man Myles Frost. Our review called it: “slick and sensational, a jukebox jubilation that triumphantly recreates a glimpse of a unique and towering talent.”

MJ’s children thrilled the crowds in Soho’s Old Compton Street, posing on the VIP red carpet, although they appeared somewhat uncomfortable. Rarely seen in public with their father when they were young, and certainly not without masks and veils, they are also rarely seen all together as adults.

Paris Jackson, who will be 26 next week, is an established model, singer and actress and looked stunning in a vivid red dress that set off her blonde hair, sculpted features and pale blue eyes.

Her brothers Prince and Bigi, who have much darker features and brown eyes, both wore dark suits. Prince, alone of the three, beamed broadly throughout.

Paris’ looks have always attracted attention. She may have inherited her striking eyes from her mother, Debbie Rowe, whose are a darker blue, but has also said in the past that she suffers from ocular albinism.

All three were kept out of the public eye when young and only started making appearances following their father’s death in June 2009. During the July 7 televised memorial Paris famously paid tribute to her father, famously saying: “I just wanted to say, ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine.”

They were raised by their grandmother Katherine Jackson and uncle Tito and in 2010 the whole family appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss their lives after losing Michael.

Paris and Prince, 27, have embraced social media and work in the entertainment industry but 22-year-old Bigi, formerly Blanket, is much more reclusive.

Michael Joseph Jackson Jr (commonly known as Prince) was born on February 13, 1997. His sister Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson followed on April 3, 1998. Their mother was former nurse Debbie Rowe, who was briefly MJ’s wife until they divorced in 1999 and she signed over sole custody for $8million.

Jackson’s second son, Prince Michael Jackson II (commonly known as Blanket and then Bigi) was born on February 21, 2002, to an unknown surrogate mother. It was reported that upon achieving legal adulthood and independence, he purchased a $2.6million mansion in Calabasas, California.

Paris and Prince are often seen together and he has referred to their “duality, the yin and the yang,” while she sometimes refers to the two of them as spiritual “twins.”

Paris has bravely spoken openly of her struggles with fame and identity, and mental health. She has admitted to suicide attempts and self-harm as a way to deal with her “emotional pain,” rooted in the traumatic loss of her father at such a young age.

She said: “Trauma is the seed to any unhealthy coping skill that you choose.”

The artist, who released album Wilted in 2020, has described the way her music has helped her: “I got a lot of healing from creating this and I hope it brings healing to other people. But it’s not up to me to choose how people feel about it.”

Asked what her father might think of her music, she added: “I hope he would be happy and I think he would be stoked that I’m happy.”
