It’s the secret MKR romance rumour that has set tongues wagging since the first Instant Restaurant round many weeks ago.
Melbourne hospitality worker Nick has made no secret of his affection for Perth contestant Rach during the competition.
Describing the brunette as “definitely my type”, Nick said he was open to finding love on the show.

“I’m a single guy, I’m always looking for that special person,” he told MKR producers.
He went on to give more hints of a blooming romance between the pair, admitting that he had opened up to his mum about a possible relationship.
“I may have told her that yes, there was someone,” he said on the show.
In response, his mother said she was excited to see Nick “get married”, adding that “I’m going to end up with really good-looking grandkids.”
In another episode, Rach also admitted that she would “marry” Nick if she had to choose one person from around the MKR table.
After Rach and her team mate Tommy moved straight through to the quarter final after finishing second in the first Instant Restaurant, it meant that the pair’s time together had been cut short.
However the pair finally reunited during Sunday night’s episode, resulting in a very warm welcome.
Nick and Rach ran towards one another when they first spotted each other at MKR Headquarters and hugged tightly in front of all the other teams.
Off camera, Nick made no secret of his feelings for Rach.
“It is really nice to see Rach again – that is for sure,” Nick said. “Rachel’s got my heart.”
In an exclusive interview with 7NEWS.com.au, Nick refused to confirm or deny the romance rumours.
“We’ll see, we’ll see,” he said.
“There’s still one more opportunity in the kitchen.
“We’ll see what’s in store from here on in.”
His team mate Christian added: “I’ve just got to learn to look away sometimes!”
Christian said he and Nick had formed a close bond with the Perth contestants.
“We got on like a house on fire with Tommy and Rach from the start,” he said.
“We’re all a relative age with each other and with Rach we’ve got that acting background. There was an automatic connection.”
