Mustang: Mohali man bursts firecrackers from moving Mustang, passerby’s clothes catch fire!

In another act of stupidity on public roads, a man in Mohali was arrested for bursting firecrackers from a moving car. Sparks from the firecrackers flew onto another road user who was passing the car on his scooter, resulting in his clothes catching fire as well as injuries to his body, revealed Mohali police.
A video is doing the rounds of the internet showing firecrackers being burnt from the Ford Mustang GTsports car.Upon being arrested by cops, the perpetrator revealed that he performed the dangerous stunt since he wanted to impress his wife on the occasion of their wedding anniversary, and uploaded a video of the act on social media to garner likes.

After his arrest, police made him delete the video. He also revealed that he had sold the car to someone in Delhi after the incident, and hence, Mohali police says that it has gotten in touch with Delhi police to confiscate the vehicle. Moreover, the offender was charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This is not the first incident of someone bursting firecrackers from a moving vehicle. Three men were arrested for a similar act of nuisance in Gurugram about two months ago.
