Former AFL WAG Nadia Bartel has spoken about why she decided to keep ex-husband Jimmy Bartel’s last name, four years after they split up.
The 38-year-old was responding to a TikTok troll who wondered why she hadn’t reverted to her maiden name, which is Coppolino.

“Kept the surname, I see,” the person wrote under one of Nadia’s TikTok posts.
Nadia then posted a video explaining why she had chosen to keep the Bartel name.
“It’s been happening every day pretty much since my marriage ended,” she said in the video.
“And I don’t have to answer this question, obviously.
“But I’m just so sick of the question being thrown at me.
“And I’m trolled with it all the time.”
The mum-of-two said she had kept the name for the sake of the two sons she has with Jimmy Bartel – Aston, seven, and Henley, four.
“The fact of the matter is, I want the same surname as my two small boys,” she said.
“I’m very traditional like that.
“I don’t see why I personally have to have a different name to my small children, because my marriage ended.”
The model said she also chose to keep her married surname because of her cultural background, in which it was traditional to do so.
