Fanatics and FOX Sports announced they will host an event at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute to honor the Negro Leagues.
Organizers said the events will also feature special guests and a 24-foot trading card of legendary baseball player Willie Mays.
Following a multi-city promotional tour, which launched at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, FOX Sports and Fanatics Collectibles will bring their larger-than-life activation to Birmingham.
On Tuesday, June 18 an 8,000-pound 24’x16’ print of Willie Mays, custom sketched as part of Topps’ 2024 MLB at Rickwood Negro Leagues Collection by artist and former MLB player Micah Johnson, is set to be unveiled at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
Organizers said the activation will be available for public viewing through Thursday, June 20 from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM CT (Local).
