A limestone cottage 20 steps from a beach in South Australia’s south-east is on offer for $500,000.
The three-bedroom home on Glynn Drive in Nene Valley was built in the 1960s by a fisherman, but is now used as an Airbnb.
Malseeds Real Estate agent Wendy Flint described the home as “hidden gem” only a few minutes drive from the “up-and-coming sea side town” of Port MacDonnell.

She said it was one of just 15 properties on the Nene Valley foreshore with direct beach access.
The Glynn Drive property has one bathroom, reverse cycle heating and cooling and two rain water tanks.
Several rooms have unobstructed views of the ocean.
Nene Valley in South Australia’s Limestone Coast is almost halfway, or a five-hour drive, to either Adelaide and Melbourne.
It’s also half an hour drive from the state’s second-largest city of Mount Gambier.
Flint said the cottage is the perfect Airbnb for a weekender to have a family barbecue, go fishing and have dinner in Port MacDonnell.
Other attractions in the area include two conservation parks with opportunities to snorkel in freshwater ponds or book a fishing charter to catch rock lobster or Southern Bluefin Tuna.
The nearby town of Mount Gambier is known for its Blue Lake, sinkholes and many spectacular caves.
Flint said since the COVID-19 pandemic, regional real estate had become increasingly more popular, and she estimates the value of the Nene Valley home would go up in the near future.
