According to recent reports, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models are rumored to include the latest Wi-Fi 6E technology, providing high-speed wireless connectivity. This information was originally leaked by credible source ‘Unknownz21’ in January and is now supported by a research note from Barclays analysts. The analysts suggest that Wi-Fi 6E will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will feature Wi-Fi 6.
Wi-Fi 6 operates in the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, improving data transmission efficiency for activities like streaming and gaming. On the other hand, Wi-Fi 6E expands on Wi-Fi 6 by utilizing the 6 GHz frequency band. Previous rumors have also indicated that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have features such as Always-On and ProMotion displays, solid-state buttons with haptic feedback, a titanium frame, increased RAM, and a Thunderbolt port for high-speed data transfer. Additionally, there is speculation that the iPhone 15 Pro will be available in a dark blue color with a grey tone.
