New York Fashion Week Photos Spring 2024

Fall is in the air, but spring is all that’s on our minds as New York Fashion Week kicks off. Stay in-the-know with Shutterstock Editorial’s VIP coverage.

It’s the first week of September and, for fashion lovers, that could only mean one thing: Fashion Month is here! With the click of a heel (or flat) and the snap of a flash, models, stars, editors, influencers, buyers, and fashionistas alike will be glued to the runways.

That’s right, New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024 is officially here to rule the catwalk from September 07 to 12.

While the East Coast is breaking out the knits and light autumn jackets, the fashion calendar calls for a distinctly sunny atmosphere. We’re talking frills, frocks, and florals (. . . for spring) as the hottest US-based designers send their latest designs down the runway.

This year, anticipation came fashionably early in the days leading up to New York Fashion Week. Everyone loves a comeback story, and Fashion Week was expected to be all about the great returns of American icon Ralph Lauren, perennially cool Phillip Lim, and the reimagined Victoria’s Secret (relaunching with The World Tour on Amazon Prime September 26).

Didn’t get a coveted ticket? Shutterstock Editorial’s photographers will be there to capture every jaw-dropping moment—from the runways, backstage, and beyond. All you have to do is sit back and click, we’ve got you covered with New York Fashion Week’s hottest photos.

In celebration of Creative Director Stuart Vevers’ tenth year at the helm of Coach, the American fashion house sent an exuberant love letter of a show down the runway at the iconic New York Public Library.

A mix of old and new, tailored, heritage silhouettes got a fresh spin from quirky, playful touches—including super-sheer fabrics and printed kisses.

New York welcomed home a familiar friend at the start of the Fashion Week, when after a four-year hiatus Victoria’s Secret rolled out the pink carpet. But aside from the signature hue, iconic wings, and many recognizable names, reintroductions were in order.

With Wednesday night’s bash, the label proudly declared a new era with Victoria’s Secret World Tour 2023. A reimagining of the iconic Victoria’s Secret runway show of yesterday, the film features the VS20—a group of 20 innovative global creatives—with four fashion curations from Bogotá, Lagos, London, and Tokyo.

“This film is the ultimate expression of the Victoria’s Secret brand transformation. It will be driven by fashion, glamor, and entertainment with a nod to beloved iconography from the past but in a bold, redefined way,” said Raúl Martinez, EVP and Head Creative Director at Victoria’s Secret.

Returning and rookie faces, including Candice Swanepoel, a bewinged Julia Fox, Mayowa Nicholas and Bubu Ogisi, Abby Champion, Colin Jones, and Aaron Rose Philip, repped the brand in true angel fashion.
