Today the new James Bond reality TV game show 007: Road to a Million lands on Prime, two years after the release of No Time To Die.
As members of the public take on Bond-esque challenges around the world in the new series, fans continue to speculate over who the new 007 star will be.
According to Coral bookmakers, Harry Styles has had his odds of becoming the next Bond cut from 33-1 to 10-1, in the last 24 hours.
The 29-year-old musician and actor also has 1-2 odds of singing the Bond 26 theme song.
Coral’s John Hill said: “If filmmakers want to appeal to a whole new audience, hiring Harry Styles as the next James Bond would be one way to do that. We have seen strong support for the pop star in our betting over the last 24 hours.”
All this should be taken with a pinch of salt of course, with Express.co.uk having asked Bond producer Gregg Wilson what the latest on the new Bond was at the premiere of 007 Road to a Million last week.
He exclusively told us: “No plans on making the next Bond at this stage. There will be another Bond someday, but we’re not actively developing it.”
Nevertheless, here are the full latest next Bond odds, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson continuing to take the lead at 2-1.
Coral’s next Bond odds: 2-1 Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 3-1 James Norton, 4-1 Henry Cavill, 6-1 Rege-Jean Page, 7-1 Tom Hardy, 8-1 Paapa Essiedu, 10-1 Harry Styles 12-1 Jack Lowden, 14-1 Richard Madden, 14-1 Callum Turner, 16-1 Aidan Turner, 20-1 Sope Dirisu, 50-1 Lashana Lynch.
Our best bet for a new Bond announcement will be in late 2024 for a late 2025 release based on the same time gap between Pierce Brosnan’s Die Another Day and Daniel Craig’s Casino Royale.
