While bride-to-be Radhika Merchant stunned in a pastel-hued lehenga by ace designer Anamika Khanna, like Shloka Ambani, it was her would-be mom-in-law, Nita Ambani who walked away with all the glory, as she stunned in a gorgeous lehenga.
The mother of the groom, Nita wore the satranga lehenga with aari, zardosi and threadwork and a dupatta specially created and crafted for her by Anamika Khanna. The lehenga was finished with a Gharchola odhni, handwoven by the Swadesh artisans. For the unversed, Swadesh is a collaborative platform and movement empowering communities and preserving age-old craftsmanship. This masterpiece was specially custom made for Mrs. Ambani to be worn during the pre-wedding celebrations for the upcoming union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
For her jewellery, Nita opted for a beautiful necklace set by celebrated jewellery designer Sunita Shekhawat.
The Ambani family will host Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities at Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1 to March 3, 2024. The wedding date of the couple has still not be announced, but reports suggest that the duo will tie the knot sometime later this year.
