The unscheduled maintenance was being done near San Bruno Station, and BART did not say when it would be complete. Service in the area was reduced to one track.

Chris Filippi, a spokesperson for BART, said on the media hotline at 8:30 a.m. that BART is still offering normal Yellow Line service. “East Bay riders heading to SFO continue to have frequent service to the airport,” Filippi said

“There is, however, currently limited Red Line service between Richmond and Millbrae,” he added. Milbrae passengers can transfer to an SFO train at Colma then transfer to a Millbrae train at SFO. From Millbrae, they can board the SFO shuttle to SFO and board the Yellow Line to Antioch before transferring at 19th Street in Oakland to a Richmond train.

“We’ll provide more details as they become available,” he said.
