EVANSTON, Ill. – Piloted by first-year head coach Tim Nollan, Northwestern volleyball announced its full slate of non-conference match-ups for the upcoming 2024 season on Thursday.  The Wildcats are set to face off against five opponents in the eight-game schedule before beginning conference action.

 
Northwestern will raise the curtain on the new campaign by heading west on back-to-back weekends.  The Wildcats officially open the Nollan era with two games in Las Vegas, Nev. as part of the UNLV Tournament, taking on the host Rebels (Aug. 30) and Pacific (Aug. 31).  A two-game trip to Long Beach State follows, with clashes against the Beach set for September 5 and September 7.
 
Prior to the start of Big Ten Conference play, the ‘Cats will then play home-and-home series with both Notre Dame and Northern Illinois.  Northwestern will play host to the Fighting Irish on September 12 before visiting South Bend, Ind. on September 14.  The Wildcats will wrap up non-conference play the following week, entertaining the Huskies on September 18 ahead of the return matchup on September 20 in DeKalb, Ill.
 
From there, Northwestern will embark on their 20-match Big Ten schedule, beginning on Sept. 26, when they visit Maryland.
