NSW Police senior constable Beau Lamarre-Condon has been fired from the force after he was charged over the alleged murder of Sydney couple Jesse Baird, 26, and Luke Davies, 29, last month.
Lamarre-Condon was off-duty when police allege he shot the pair at Baird’s Paddington sharehouse and then disposed of the bodies on a rural property in Bungonia, near Goulburn, using a hired van.
“An off-duty police officer charged with two counts of murder in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has been removed today from the NSW Police Force,” NSW Police said on Friday.
“Under section 181D of the Police Act 1990, the Commissioner has the ability to remove officers if she has lost confidence in their suitability to continue as a police officer.”

The bodies of Baird and Davies were found at the fence line of the property in Goulburn, inside surfboard bags allegedly purchased days earlier at Westfield Miranda.
Lamarre-Condon is currently detained at Silverwater prison and is next due to face court on April 23.
